More About Me

Hello, I’m Katie. I live in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. I became a professional celebrant because it allows me to bring together my warmth, compassion, and creativity with my love of people and their stories.
I’ve often been told I have a natural ability to make others feel truly seen and heard, and over the years, I was frequently asked to write and speak at significant family occasions. To me, it is an absolute privilege to walk alongside people during life’s most meaningful moments, and I can honestly say it’s the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
I trained with the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC), one of the leading celebrant training organisations, and I continue to invest in ongoing professional development. Learning and growing is important to me, so I can always craft heartfelt, memorable ceremonies that reflect the people at their very centre. Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years working in marketing and later ran my own hotel and restaurant, both of which deepened my love of working closely with people.
I’m also passionate about helping everyone understand the freedom they have in shaping their ceremonies. There is no single way to honour a loved one, celebrate a marriage, or welcome a new child – each ceremony should be as unique as the people it’s about. My role is to create thoughtful, bespoke, and deeply personal occasions. As someone once told me, “We speak for the dead and are the voice of love.” That phrase has always stayed with me.
